Applications of BBa_K2027040
The primary application of this construct is to allow for high expression of DXS synthase for either protein purification or optimization of MEV/DOXP pathway. For the latter to have effect, the pathway must be endogenous to the transfected species. As a consequence, the transfected organism will also exhibit increased IPP/DMAPP production.
